Burningham & Brown, Solicitors, has been established in Bath for over 50 years and remains one of Bath’s best known private client law firms. Our service, unusually in this day and age, is Partner led and because our Senior Partners have lived locally all their lives they have an unrivalled knowledge of the city of Bath. The firm has always had a strong sporting connection centred originally around Bath Rugby Club. Between them the two Senior Partners have played rugby together for Bath, Harlequins, Somerset and England and they continue to represent many clubs and sporting clients.

The firm does not have a large marketing department, but prefers to concentrate its resources on retaining its long-standing existing client base by providing a quality service at competitive prices. There is, however, a policy of sponsoring local football, rugby and cricket clubs as well as local musical and theatrical organisations.

The staff themselves always contribute to an individual charity and each year hold various fund raising activities amongst themselves. We have donated in excess of £5,000 to various charities in the last five years.

The Partners have invested significantly in technology to ensure that the firm is able to meet the challenges of an increasingly technological world such as e-conveyancing, but they are confident that there is still a place for specialist client firms such as ourselves for those clients who want the human touch.
