On Sunday 7th March Justine Alford, Partner of Burningham & Brown, completed the 8-mile Bath Rugby Walk in order to raise money for Dorothy House hospice care. The walk started at Dorothy House, Winsley, Bradford on Avon and finished at Bath Recreation Ground, the home of Bath Rugby.
Justine managed to raise £125.00 for Dorothy House Hospice care which provide compassionate care and support for people in the community with a life-limiting illness. Their focus is on quality of life, helping patients to live well and die well. Dorothy House give care and support to patients and their families across a 700sq mile area, which includes Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset. Their services are provided whenever and wherever they are needed; at home, in the Hospice, or at one of their outreach centres. They respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
