Brendan Perry - Senior Partner
Brendan Perry is our Senior Partner and has nearly 50 years of experience in the Law. He qualified as a solicitor in 1970 and is therefore very experienced in all aspects of Private Client work, Wills, Estate Administration, Trusts and Conveyancing.
Brendan now has a consultative role within the Practice. He is widely respected in the wider community in Bath having been a former rugby player for both Bath and Somerset and he is a past President of the Bath Rugby Club.

David Gay - Senior Partner
David Gay is head of our Conveyancing Department and has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, leasehold property, transfer of equity, re-mortgages and tenancy agreements. He qualified as a solicitor in 1977 and specialises in Property Law and Probate and is also a Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Having lived in Bath for most of his life, David has extensive knowledge of the area which is a great asset when dealing with conveyancing matters; particularly to clients moving into the area. His client base is not just in Bath but all over the Country, including London.
Away from the office David maintains his interest in rugby, particularly supporting junior rugby clubs.

Sarah Loveless - Partner
Sarah Loveless joined our Practice in 2002 and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. She became a Partner in 2007 and she specialises in Wills and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Family Law. Sarah is also a Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and Resolution which commits Family Lawyers to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way.
Sarah has always enjoyed travelling and sport, and has run many half marathons including Bristol & Bath raising funds for various charities including "Above & Beyond" and has run the London Marathon twice raising over £1,000 for the charity "Parents for Children" and more recently £3,625 for CLIC Sargent. Sarah is also a mentor for local Bath based charity "Mentoring Plus". Sarah lives in Bath with her husband and two young daughters.
"I enjoy helping families in the local community. My work involves dealing with clients who are going through a divorce, or preparing Wills and obtaining Probate when someone has died. These can be distressing times for clients and I make sure that I never lose sight of this fact in the way that I carry out my job."
Justine Alford - Partner
Justine Alford qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has since had an extensive amount of experience in her specialised areas of work including Estate Administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and some Trust Administration. Justine began her career in London and South East working in private practices and in-house positions covering a wide range of private client work and she joined our Practice in 2014. She is also a Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).

Justine lives in the Bath area with her husband and two children. She is an active member of her local community and enjoys gardening and going on long walks with the dog.

Sarah Loveless Partner of Burningham and Brown raised £3,625 for CLIC Sargent running the London Marathon 2019 in memory of her good friend Robbie Stuart, Sarah was delighted with the amount raised and said " A big thank you to everyone who sponsored me, I am delighted with the amount raised as £3,155 funds CLIC Sargent's Information Service for a week, providing young cancer patients and their families with expert advice and guidance on everything to do with life during and after treatment."...
